Student profile
I’m a 14-year-old Year 10 student at Braeburn Schools, Nairobi (equivalent to Grade 9 in the American high school system). I’m interested in robotics, AI, 3D design and CNC. I enjoy designing crafts, learning how machines make them, and building ideas that solve everyday problems.

View Term 3 reportLearning & Experience
My robotics training introduced me to 3D design, 3D printing and CNC, alongside programming, teaching and competition work.
Early engineering
I studied EV3 robotics, simple machines, drone navigation, robot design, programming and sensing. I earned certificates in Early Engineering Education Series I and II and Intermediate Robotics Classes Term I.

During robotics training, I learned Tinkercad 3D design and how to operate 3D printers and CNC machines. I was especially interested in designing crafts that these machines could make and understanding how each machine works. I also explored recycled plastic filament for 3D printing.
See Certificates & AwardsLeadership through teaching
Supported beginner robotics classes and two 2022 summer camp sessions, sharing skills from robotics training with younger learners.
See Certificates & AwardsCompetition experience
Worked on the Superpowered Challenge in Rwanda: an automatic solar tracker innovation project and a robot built and programmed for competition missions.

I earned six RoboCap League awards through assessment tests in 2024–25: White, Yellow, Orange, Green, Red and Blue. I completed Robotics Master 50 Classes in September 2026.
See Playto Labs certificatesSummer learning
I completed the Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning course on July 31, 2026. I practiced Python coding and built a timed drawing game with a teammate.

Creativity & Innovation
My projects include an education app idea, a healthcare robot concept, a solar tracker and a Python drawing game.
AI & EDUCATION
“Ask” in Kinyarwanda
I started Mbaza to explore how AI could help students in Rwanda find learning resources. I was thinking about classrooms where several students share one textbook.
The idea is to let learners ask questions and find curriculum resources more easily.

HEALTHCARE ROBOTICS
In 2021, I drew a robot that could help nurses care for patients during COVID-19 and presented the idea in robotics class.

At iD Tech Camps, I worked with a teammate to make a game where players draw a prompt before the timer runs out and AI tries to guess it. We made easy, medium and hard levels with different time limits.
